I've been struggling with discomfort in one tooth for years. I've seen multiple dentists, oral surgeons, and an endodontist, but no one was able to figure out what was causing the problem. This office identified the issue in a single visit because of their willingness to listen and brainstorm the issue with each other. It is such a relief to finally have an explanation. Thanks to Dr. Pouya and Dr. Tyler - paria khamsehzadeh Who says adults don’t want the full children’s experience?
Today, my friend and I visited All Star Pediatric Dentistry because it was the only practice in the area with an oral surgeon covered by her insurance.
The moment we walked in, the experience began: a galaxy theme, beautifully painted rooms, vibrant colors, and so many playful details. We were genuinely excited and we had not even met the doctors yet.
The care was just as impressive. The team gave my friend their full attention and identified an issue she had been dealing with for several years. They also patiently answered all of my completely unrelated questions about recent stem cell research and how stem cells can be extracted from wisdom teeth.
Then we reached the checkout desk and I asked for our tokens to get toys from the vending machine.
For some reason, everyone laughed as though adults would not want tokens or the chance to use the capsule vending machine.
Guess what? I got two toys. My friend did too.
We laughed, took selfies, chose our prizes, and had an unexpectedly wonderful time.
Honestly, I am not sure I want to ever return to an adult dentist. I want colorful themes, tokens, prizes, laughter, and selfies at every appointment.
Maybe creating joyful, memorable experiences should not be limited to children. Adults want to feel cared for, curious, and delighted too. - Duha Dr. Tyler and the team at Allstar Pediatric Dentistry are AMAZING! It is very easy to complete forms and make appointments. My boys and I feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment we walk in the door to walking out. All questions answered by the doctor himself without feeling rushed. My daughters (ages 5 and 3) seen him for their first times ever in a dentist office and he was so patient and gentle with them!
My youngest had a quick procedure done in office the same day and he was able to be patient with her and walk her through the process.
My oldest (has ASD) needed to come back to receive caps on her teeth and he was so patient with her during the procedure. He walked her through it, made little jokes during them to keep her calm and relaxed.
The office has tvs for the kiddos to watch their favorite shows or movies to relax.

Dr Tyler has been a phenomenal doctor for all five of our children. He delivers the best care with a family mindset. His love, care and patience shines through the interactions with the children and parents. He not only cares about our children’s teeth but takes time to develop meaningful relationships!
